Chinmaya Mission Boston is pleased to announce the 2017 Gita Chanting competition. The aim of Geeta Chanting is to encourage everyone to chant, study and live the essence of the Upanishadic knowledge that Bhagavan Shri Krishna imparted to Arjuna. Our Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayananda, is synonymous with Gita Jnana yagna. He carried the message of Gita to kindle the knowledge of the Self to millions world wide! 
Chapter chosen for this year is Chapter 17 - Shraddha traya vibhaga yoga
Group participation is encouraged. A Group (max 12) can be a mixture of children of different ages or a combination of children and adults. Idea is for more people to participate rather than a competition.If there are sufficient groups registered, groups may be considered for a prize subject to rules that will be announced later.

Gita Chanting will be taught in shlokathon class starting Feb 12 2017.
