The Bhagavad Gita Chanting competition for the year 2010 is now open.
The competition is open for Chinmaya Mission Members only.
Date: Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 Time: 9.00 – 1.00 P.M.
Registration Fee: $5 per participant
Participants have to recite Chapter 10 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita - Vibhuti Yoga

• Group Dhruva: Grades PreK and Kindergarten - Shlokas 12 through 16
• Group Prahallada: Grades 1, 2 and 3 - Shlokas 12 through 26
• Group Markandeya: Grades 4, 5 and 6 - Shlokas 12 through 26
• Group Narada: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 - Shlokas 12 through 31
• Group Tyagaraja: Adults - Shlokas 12 through 42
Note: The portions for Prahallad and Markandeya groups are the same.
• A bonus of 5 points will be awarded for reciting the (9) Gita Dhyana Shlokas.
• Conclusion as given in the end of the chapter applies to all groups
• Gita verses will be taught in the Shlokathon class.
